The liquid turbine flowmeter is a new generation of turbine flow instruments characterized by its simple structure, light weight, high precision, good reproducibility, sensitivity, and ease of installation, maintenance, and use. It is widely used to measure the flow of liquids in closed pipelines. When paired with special display instruments, it can also perform functions such as quantitative control and over-limit alarms, making it an ideal instrument for flow measurement and energy conservation. This flowmeter complies with JB/T9246-1999.
The turbine inside the flowmeter sensor rotates under the action of the fluid, causing a change in the magnetic field of the signal detector. This generates an alternating voltage in the detector coil, which is amplified, filtered, and shaped into a square wave signal. The frequency of this signal is proportional to the rotational speed of the impeller, which in turn is proportional to the flow rate (flow velocity) of the fluid.
