The tuning fork level switch is an advanced type of level switch. It uses a crystal to excite the tuning fork, causing it to vibrate. When the tuning fork is immersed in a liquid, its vibration frequency changes. This frequency change is detected by electronic circuits and used to output a switch signal. Also known as the "electrical float," the tuning fork level switch can be used in situations where traditional float switches are unsuitable due to factors such as structure, turbulence, agitation, bubbles, or vibrations.
With no moving parts, the tuning fork level switch requires no maintenance or adjustment, making it a reliable and upgraded alternative to float switches.
