The thermal flow switch is designed for in-line or insertion installation in pipelines carrying water, gas, or oil. It monitors flow in real-time, triggering an alarm signal when the flow rate exceeds or drops below a set point, helping to prevent issues like equipment "dry burn."
Based on the thermal principle, the switch contains two resistors inside a sealed probe. One is heated as the sensing resistor, and the other serves as a reference. As the flow changes, the sensor detects the temperature difference and converts it into an electrical signal. When the flow rate reaches the preset point, the switch outputs a signal to control the system.
