The immersion level meter features imported sensing chips with precise temperature compensation and an integrated transmitter circuit, providing a standard 4-20 mA output signal. This allows direct connection to A/D acquisition systems. High-quality imported components are used in the transmitter circuit, which includes reverse polarity protection, bypass capacitor filtering, and shielding to ensure resistance to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. Optional field display options make monitoring more convenient.
The transmitter operates on the principle that the static pressure of the measured liquid is proportional to its height. It uses a piezoresistive effect from either a silicon or ceramic sensing element to convert static pressure into an electrical signal. This signal is then temperature-compensated and linearly corrected to produce a standard 4-20 mA DC output.
